亚太地区图书情报与档案管理学科评估与建设国际会议

图书情报与档案管理学科正面临着当今时代持续不断、不可阻挡的技术和社会变革的冲击、挑战。从传统的图书馆到新兴的智慧城市,再到社交媒体世界、大数据应用,乃至互联网+等一系列概念的涌现,全球的信息学院都走上了探讨重新定义我们的学科的道路。

 

在此大环境下,中山大学资讯管理学院拟于20161130-123日举办“亚太地区图书情报与档案管理学科评估与建设国际会议”。会议将邀请全球图书情报与档案管理领域的顶尖学者和学术带头人,致力于评估和提升信息科学高等教育领域的研究与教学水平,同时也致力于推动信息科学研究与信息行业专业人士之间的卓越协作。

 

本次会议的目的在于为来自包括图书馆学、档案学、信息管理、信息系统、信息架构等各学科领域的学者、研究者和专业人士提供一个开展学科内部讨论的机会。这种讨论可以通向学科的评估,提升全球范围内学科以及不同领域理论的构想,沟通不同学科之间知识的差异,并推动教育和教学方面的实践。

 

本次会议的主题为:图书情报与档案管理学科的评估体系与未来发展趋势。会议由图书馆学、档案学和情报学三个分主题的研讨会,以及图书情报与档案管理一级学科总体建设研讨会组成。会议的分议题涉及如下:

 

1. 图书馆学高等教育的改革与价值评估;

2. 档案学高等教育的改革与价值评估;

3. 情报学高等教育的改革与价值评估;

4. 图书情报与档案管理学科面临的挑战与应对策略;

5. 图书情报与档案管理学科教育与研究的全球合作。

会议将向所有信息科学领域的学者和专家开放,并欢迎各位在会上就图书情报与档案管理学科的发展与高等教育相关问题进行发言和讨论。

Notice of Asia-Pacific Congress on Information Discipline Review (CIDR)

Library, information and archive management discipline is now facing the challenge and impact of continuous and unstoppable technology and social information of this age. From traditional library to the emerging smart cities, to social media world and big data application, and to the emerging concepts like internet+, the information school around the world is going on the way to explore and redefine our discipline.

 

In this circumstance, the School of Information Science of Sun Yat-sen University(SYSU) is planning to hold the “Asia-Pacific Congress on Information Discipline Review (CIDR)”from November 30th to December 3rd in 2016. CIDR is an international gathering of top academics and leaders in the Information Discipline.  The congress is dedicated to the review and advancement of research and teaching practices in Information in Higher Education (HE).  CIDR also promotes collaborative excellence between academics and professionals from Information Profession.

 

The aim of CIDR is to provide an opportunity for academics, researchers and professionals from the various fields of the discipline (libraries, archives, information management, information systems, information architecture, etc.) to engage in intra-disciplinary discussion that may lead to review of the discipline, advancement of theoretical conceptualisations of the different fields and the discipline globally as well as connect knowledge differences between fields, promote research esteem and develop educational and pedagogical practices.

 

The theme of this congress is: The assessment system and future development trend of library, information and archive management discipline. The congress will consist of topic seminars for library, archive and information science respectively, and general constructive seminar of library, information and archive management as a level 1 discipline. The sub-topics of the congress will cover the following content:

1. The reformation and value assessment of library science higher education;

2. The reformation and value assessment of archive science higher education;

3. The reformation and value assessment of information science higher education;

4. The challenges facing by library, information and archive management discipline and the corresponding strategies;

5. The global cooperation on the education and research on the library, information and archive management discipline.

 

The congress will be open to all the scholars and experts in information science field. And we sincerely welcome all participants to comment and discuss about the development and higher education of the library, information and archive management discipline.
